The Mai Tai

The 2001 New Year’s Eve party cocktail was the Mai Tai

4 Parts Dark Rum (2 oz.)
4 Parts Light Rum (2 oz.)
2 Parts Curacao (1 oz.)
2 Parts fresh lime juice (1 oz.)
Grenadine (1 tbsp.)
Orgeat (Almond) Syrup (1 tbsp.)

Combine ingredients with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker.  Shake Well (I stirred instead, which was fine).
